Safe Sites for All (SS4A):Works to support creating of all types of shelter, especially low-barrier, low-costs options, like Safe Parking and Sanctioned Encampments. Open to all. Workforce Development Committee:Creating education and employment options for people experiencing homelessness. The primary tool to do this work is the Hire253 job fair. Since COVID-19, this committee has been on hold. There are currently no regular committee meetings. Race and Equity Committee: This committee works to increase equity in all aspects of the Coalition's work. Communication occurs on the Race and Equity Committee Listserv - sign up for emails on the Coalition Listserv Page.
Governance Work Group: This committee works to develop the internal structures needed to accomplish the work of the Coalition.
The Coalition has subcommittees and also collaborates with many organizations in the community. We often collaborate informally. Formal collaboration where a Coalition member specifically represents the Coalition requires approval by the Coalition.
